Huge smile!
I was wondering when television would bring these excellent stories to life.
We're all behind demanding the quality these books deserve. They are seriously above and beyond a lot of the mystery writers I have dabbled with - not many books make me stop my life to see what happens, and then stay in my head. Mark writes amazing characters who "people" our lives!

I`m sure Razzle would have been more polite than old MM. I do agree that to be able to continue with nary a thought for the drummer or his family was/is shocking.
Now, my fiend Kenny has seen a `Vince Neil/somebimbo` tape and he`s no Tommy Lee. Hung like a Chinese mouse was the phrase used.
I propose Mark and Gungho create a fresh piece of music for the theme (drums by Max, of course)

David Morrissey - I haven't seen him in anything that I remember But looked at his biog, and I agree with an earlier post - too tall, too slim, too damm pretty... but, lets see how it turns out eh?
So, who will play the other characters - esp Hendricks and brigstock.
As to the Theme tune, It needs to be something country, something Johnny cash perhaps...

The sexy guy from The Wire could be Thorne I guess, or am I still thinking about Hayder's Jack Cafferty? D'oh. Watched a couple more episodes last night, and that Wire guy is BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I think I am in love. He also has the gruffness, and the roughness, the height and weight (IMO). Also, he was born in Yorkshire of all places, not the USofA as i thought!
Dominic West, that's the sexy guy's name. Always thought maybe Thorne was a bit sexy ugly. maybe just ugly, who knows?

Are there still plans for a BTZ meet up during filming to be in the background of the Indian? I think it's only fair (considering that before it gets shown next year, I'll be in WHSmith's circling the program in every Radio Times! ... that's if WHSmith is still around by then).
