I will have you know that there was no leaning at all on my part this year. I was a good girl, alternating soft drinks with alcohol and last night/this morning I did that odd thing - drink myself sober. But it meant that this year I didn't embarrass myself, except for an incident or two with Chris Brookmyre (sp?) but I'll hopefully recover from that when I have apologiised... No - not telling - but it was nothing to do with the kilt, so stay away from that area. |

Ok, So here's the first few of mine.... starting with the lovely Sarah H  Some of us in the bar (including the super Sheila Q)  ganging up with Mark  Helena made sure we got to talk to all of the authors we wanted to including Harlan Coben  and despite our mediocre score, we were trying in the quiz, as you can tell...  (Thats Mr K with H) |

feels like I've risen from the dead...but it was worth it!!
I had a fantastic weekend, meeting up with all you amazing BTz's was something else! it was surreal to chat, hug, laugh, and drink with you. A special thanks to Betty who let me share her room...
Enjoyed every second much more later when I've been fed and watered.

Oh No  sorry to hear that Jo. I've pm'd you as I thought you might be caught up in all of this...hope it's sorted soon. How ironic all that water around you and not a drop to drink! didn't we have a great time, just a pity we could'nt all have found a quiet spot saturday night after the quiz when we were all there to have a really good caht to each other...we'll have to arrange it for next year. |

Hey guys! What a great time we had a Harrogate. It was an excellent weekend, but the obvious highlight was meeting the BTZers – finally putting (3-D) faces to names. The Jingo and I had a ball and really enjoyed meeting up with you all.
Can’t wait until next year!

Like it Jo! Nice one. Yes, I enjoyed meeting Mr K too - we had a few laughs (not sure what we are looking at here - actually, truth be told, I think we were just posing). I hope he had a good time.
