Sheila if I read a scary crime novel, I look under the bed before I go to sleep, imagine my life if I read 'The Stand'- but it's still nestling in my TBR pile  Cheesy

With The Stand you don't really look under your bed, you just worry endlessly about every sniffle.

I enjoyed The Stand.But i think that my fave SK book has to be IT.This book scared me to death

Betty once you start reading the stand you will not be able to put it down,then when you get the flu this year you will be worried to death. Go on read it.

I went to the Doctors today and got a pretty shocking diagnosis off her.............. apparently, and I take a deep breath as I say this, I have............

I though of a writer today who I think is  fantastic.  Allan Folsom.  Has anyone read Day after Tomorrow?  It was one of the best books I have ever read.  He doesn't seem to be a prolific writer.  I think he has only written 3 books ever.  Shame that tis.

I read that book a couple of years ago Lee. As I remember it was so fast paced it was breathtaking. Great book. I haven't read any of his others though
