Go on Betty I dare you.
Sheila if I read a scary crime novel, I look under the bed before I go to sleep, imagine my life if I read 'The Stand'- but it's still nestling in my TBR pile

With The Stand you don't really look under your bed, you just worry endlessly about every sniffle.

Is that what's really the matter with me?
I went to the Doctors today and got a pretty shocking diagnosis off her.............. apparently, and I take a deep breath as I say this, I have............
a cold.
Dear Helena, if you had the Superflu from The Stand, you'd be dead by now.

I though of a writer today who I think is fantastic. Allan Folsom. Has anyone read Day after Tomorrow? It was one of the best books I have ever read. He doesn't seem to be a prolific writer. I think he has only written 3 books ever. Shame that tis.

I read that book a couple of years ago Lee. As I remember it was so fast paced it was breathtaking. Great book. I haven't read any of his others though
